I became a Physical Therapist because…

“I wanted to go into a service profession of helping others. I had done a variety of volunteer work in high school and received tremendous satisfaction in improving people’s lives and maximizing their potential. I enjoyed school and became particularly interested in science courses. I had a wonderful high school counselor who helped prepare me for college and steered me in a great direction.”

What’s most exciting about my job?

“Every day there is a new problem to solve and a new face to meet. My patients / clients bring me great joy with their humor, wisdom and the uniqueness of their individual personalities. I’ve been a therapist for 20 years and it amazes me how the anatomy of the body remains constant, yet the theories and new treatment approaches continue to evolve and improve.”

“I enjoy spending time with family and friends, bike riding, tennis, Pilates, and reading.”
