“My Treatment philosophy is teaching my patients proper movement in order to help facilitate healing. I want the
patients that I work with to leave more knowledgeable about the human body and understand the proper functional
movement to reduce the chance for future injuries.”
Manual Therapy focused on joint mobilizations and mobilizations with movement followed up with a functional
approach to exercise.

I BECAME A PHYSICAL THERAPIST BECAUSE…
“We are currently living in an age of opioid crisis and dependency. I have personally seen how people’s lives
are affected due to previous injuries that were not treated properly and then led to opioid dependency. I have
also seen Physical Therapy treat people with chronic pain in a non-invasive manner, allowing patients to
become empowered self-managers of their pain and function.”
WHAT’S MOST EXCITING ABOUT MY JOB?
“Watching patients make gains. I enjoy watching patients’ progression from the start of therapy where they are
more dependent on the therapist and the therapy team until discharge where they have become independent and
met all of their goals.”
